I disagree with the appeasement policy of Britain and France prior to World War II. While the intention was to avoid conflict and maintain peace, this approach ultimately emboldened aggressive regimes like Nazi Germany, leading to greater instability and, eventually, a larger war. The failure to confront such expansionist policies early on allowed for the violation of treaties and the escalation of hostilities, demonstrating that appeasement often fails to prevent conflict.
