Are hotels independently owned

there are only three types;

chains [Hyatt and Motel 6 for example]

and independent.......where there could be a corporation

that owns 1 or 101 but they are not owned by separate franchise

buyers............

and franchise.........with a single person [most often] owning a

"branded" hotel
