How do you play the twisted wizard game on poptropica?

Twisted Wizard is a game included in the 18th island "Wimpy Wonderland."

Those who completed the Game CD section of Wimpy Wonderland prior to the addition of the game can still play it as a separate game.

Once you have entered Greg's house and followed Manny's trail from his room, you will chase him to the school. Open Greg's locker using the combination in the tree to the right of the school. When you return to his house with the Wizard game guide, you can play the game.

Playing Twisted Wizard

The object of the game is to protect your wizard from being killed by the attcking hordes of ogres. There are 3 waves of attackers, each wave faster and more numerous. You must survive for 30 seconds in each round by killing off the ogres with your lightning bolts.

To build your walls, rapidly click and move to drop stone pieces into place around you. The ogres will destroy these blocks to get at your wizard, so the more that are in their way, the better. You only have 15 seconds to drop all of the blocks, and you can rotate them using the spacebar to make them fit. When you click to drop a block, it will remain RED if it can't be fit into the spot you are putting it. The best idea is to complete one level of blocks around your wizard (the inside blocks vanish if the wall breaks), and then another layer farther out to absorb some of the attacks.

To destroy the ogres, point at them with your cursor and click once to fire a lightning bolt. Aim carefully because they will move quickly, even faster once they are through your wall. Be careful of the top where your wall is the thinnest.

After the first and second waves, repair your walls the same way as you first built them. Use the small pieces to fill gaps, and make your wall as thick as possible. Open spaces are easier for the Ogres to pass through than stone.

*To Turn on the Easy Mode

The only way to beat the game is to set it on Easy, as the Guide says. When you first enter the game, click the Wizard figure at the upper left *before* you click Start Game.

Defeating all three waves wins the game, and exits back to Wimpy Wonderland.
