Geographers study political science to learn?

Geographers do not usually study political science.

Some of them do study political geography (the location of countries, capitals, administrative divisions), and then they may consult with political scientists in fields such as understanding and drawing borders, selecting capitals, determining the 'start date' for a country etc. etc.

In the same vein, political scientists consult with geographers, as many data collection processes nowadays are geo-coded (such as violent conflict, international aid flows etc.), and require tools that geographers use.
