How do you introduce the wedded couple?

Just say " This is our son-in-law John, and his parent's . Mr and Mrs. Whatever. or if he has step-parents, say ....John and his Father , Mr, Whatever and his step-Mother , Jane , and vice-versa. Introduce the birth parent first by Mrs Francine Whosit, and her husband as Francine's husband, Mr James Whosit.
