What is the difference between benzathine and penicillin G?

Penicillin G benzathine is used orally and parenterally. Trade names are: Bicillin LA and Permapen. Penicillin V potassium is characteristically known for being stable in acid (therefore, is taken orally). Trade names are: Ledercillin VK and SK-Penicillin VK.
