Why do the Aztecs not wear shoes?

You don't know your history at all. First of all, the name for the people is MEXICA (meh-shee-kah), not Aztec (a name invented by a German researcher)...lastly we had shoes, you can see all over the "codices" (ancient books)...by every high culture shows instances of both individuals with and without shoes...my info is NOT opinion it is researched proven archeological fact.
