small dinos probably hid to caves to avoid big dinosaurs

big dinos didn't really have to hide away...

imagine if you were a great white shark, but twice the size, covered in thick protective skin & able to walk about at speed on land

what would you have to fear from anyone?

nothing.

so you wouldn't hide.
