Who was the architect that invented the pyramid?

There is no single answer to this. Many different engineers helped plan and complete the Great Pyramids in Egypt. The earlier step pyramid of the 3rd dynasty pharaoh Djoser (c.2650BC) at Saqqara is attributed to Imhotep. In recent times, Heminunu a nephew of Pharaoh Khufu has been linked to the design of the Great Pyramid.
