Why was the the Liberty Bell orangly made in London England?

The Liberty Bell was originally cast in London, England, in 1752 by the Whitechapel Bell Foundry. It was commissioned by the Pennsylvania Provincial Assembly to commemorate the 50th anniversary of William Penn's Charter of Privileges.
