What looks to you like a horseshoe is actually the symbol for a tire. It is the low (TPMS) tire pressure monitoring system light. If it is just on then you have one of more tire that is low of air pressure. If the light is flashing then there is a fault with one or more of the sensors. The battery in the sensors mounted in each wheel has a life expectancy of around 5-7 years. If the battery is dead then the entire sensor must be replaced. Check all the tires and air them up to the correct pressure as listed in your owners manual and on the drivers door post. After your drive around awhile the light should go out. If it does not then you will have to reset the system. The procedure for resetting it is listed in your owners manual.
