Who was simeon and Anna in the bible meating Jesus?

Simeon was a righteous and devout man who lived in Jerusalem. The Holy Spirit revealed to him that he would die before he saw the Messiah. Simeon went to the temple and held the Christ Child, and blessed the family.

The prophet Anna was a widow who never left the temple after her husband passed away seven years after her wedding. She spread the news about the Christ Child to everyone in Jerusalem looking for redemption.
