The first date references that of the hermaphrodite brig's launching under the original name of Amazon whereas the second date refers to the part-barkentine part-schooner's discovery by the captain and crew of Dei Gratia. The third date refers to the remains of the half brig being found under a shanty-laden, shell-built artificial island off Haiti by marine archaeologist Clive Cussler and professional divers Mike Fletcher and John Davies.
