What groups moved to the suburbs after World War 2?

After World War II, many American families, particularly white middle-class individuals, moved to the suburbs in search of affordable housing, a better quality of life, and more space. This movement was facilitated by the GI Bill, which provided veterans with benefits for home purchases and education.
