1. General Liability - including products / completed operations

2. Pollution Liability - for the use & application of pesticides, fertilizers, and other chemicals. Often can be added to the General Liability policy by endorsement.

3. Workers Compensation - if its just you, and you alone, you are not required to have this. If you hire anyone, even a "day laborer" on a cash-only basis - you really need to have this coverage to protect the worker as well as your personal assets.

4. Commercial Auto - for vehicles used in the business. Some personal auto insurers will allow "business use" to be endorsed to the existing policy for a nominal premium

The above coverage is the primary focus for most contractors, including landscapers. Other coverage you may consider are, Life, Health, Tools & Equipment, etc.
