Is it OK to wear a business combination of navy blue coat with gray pants?

It really depends what color grey, if its is a dark grey almost black, well you know the rule no black and navy, but if its a light grey, that would look great especialy if they were pin stripe and wear some navy pointed toe heels. then wear pearls or somthing
