Who is the new secretary of ILO?

As of October 2023, the new Director-General of the International Labour Organization (ILO) is Gilbert F. Houngbo. He took office on October 1, 2022, succeeding Guy Ryder. Houngbo, from Togo, has extensive experience in international development and previously served as the President of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).
