Why is there no spark on a 97 astro van?

Check:

* Battery - find out if other things work, lights, radio, etc. Check connections to battery.

* Spark plugs - see if they're corroded. Check connects from plugs to distributor.

* Distributor Cap - make sure it's seated fine, and the spinning node inside is free to move.
