What does the bible says about who Jesus is?

Isaiah 53 tells us a long list of who Jesus is. Read the book of John, the fourth book of the New Testament also. John 14:6 says: "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but through me."

This means that Jesus is the only way to God. Without Jesus dying on the cross for our sins, we would be eternally lost without hope. Now, we have a choice whether to accept Jesus as our means of getting forgiveness from God for our sins.

Otherwise, it is like someone trying to get on an airplane because they have lived a good life or any other excuse except by using money to buy the ticket for the airplane. Jesus is our ticket to forgiveness and life everlasting with God, and God's gift is free, all we have to do is accept it and then live our lives the way God wants us to. That is one reason for The Bible, to show us how to live a godly life. If we don't choose God's way to salvation and forgiveness then we automatically choose to be condemned for eternity. God doesn't want anyone to perish, the Bible says, but our choice determines the outcome because God gave us each a free will to accept or reject Him.
