there: This is a question that needs a bit more data...information...Or? A pill count or a measuring of your "juice" that is monitored quite vigorously as well as it is very hard to come by unless you are a Methadone Maintenance Patient.

Are you taking the Methadone in the tablet form (they come in the mentioned 10mg strength you mentioned above, or are you taking 10 mg of the "juice" (which is usually only attainable if you are a Methadone Maintenance Program Patient or have you have went "rogue" and bought it on the street/black market/or another Methadone Maintenance Patient/Client that receives "Take Homes."

I hate to assume, so I will speculate okay? Say you do have the tablets, and you have ENOUGH FOR ONE WEEK- (70mg) total. Or.. You can take 3 1/3 tabs per day and you WILL be out in three days.

Maybe you have a different set of dynamics, I don't know. But? I do know there is another reason that you would ask this question regarding the dosage.#1: This would fit the "More is better" way of thinking.#2: You are worried about taking this narcotic for more than three days due to the "stigma" behind methadone and/or other opioid's/opiates.So the saying goes, "if you take or use opiates for three consecutive days you will have already built up a tolerance which leads to a period of withdrawal sypmtoms that is only remedied by "more" of the "poison" or medically assisted tapering as directed by your physician.

I am in Recovery from Alcoholism & Prescription Medication and the thinking process I just mentioned? Well? That was how I took my prescriptions. I would have a 30 day supply and yet the 10 days of feeling "no pain" landed me with the remaining 20 days waiting and waiting for my next appointment.

I have a long history and unpleasant past relationship with the "Poppy Plant and all of it's derivatives."

How long have you been taking Methadone? What is it prescribed or being taken for?

Today I am a Alcohol & Drug Abuse Counselor Intern - studying and preparing for my upcoming State Certification Examination.

I smile now because I have my life, children, a husband.Even with 25+ years using and abusing substances I was able to do the one thing I surely could not do.I got right. And I turned it all around to the benefit of me and hopefully to others that struggle and think they cannot possibly get through life without something to alter the real life they live in.I received the best kind of "on-the-job training" and I do mean "hands on work-experience" - It just took a while to figure out how I could utilize those years to the benefit of not only me but others who want to "Calm the Storm."If it wasn't for my past?I wouldn't have a future!!
