What is the role of the RSPCA and what does it aim for?

We're the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) and we've been here, looking out for animals, since 1824.

It's our vision to work for a world in which all humans respect and live in harmony with all other members of the animal kingdom.

Every day, with the help of our people and our generous supporters, we take steps to achieve our mission. Fromrescuing a stranded deer to changing the law, we've already achieved so much and come so far.
To help abandoned animals or ones that have been treated badly.
Put simply - an end to animal cruelty !
