Can you go skiing close to Washington DC?

Why, yes! There are three wonderful ski resorts. Try Wisp, in Maryland. You can also try Roundtop or Liberty in Pennsylvania. The two in PA are only about 2 hours from D.C. DO NOT GO TO WHITETAIL RESORT! It is a terrible place, full of long lift lines, rude people, and terrible conditions. Happy skiing!
