How will the prophecy of Jesus reigning for 1000 years be fulfilled according to biblical teachings?

This will take place after the battle of Armageddon, where Jehovah God will have Jesus lead His angelic army in the destruction of His enemies. (2 Thessalonians 1:6-9) Once all that's left is obedient mankind, Jesus and his 144,000 co-rulers will oversee mankind's change to perfection by means of his rulership. (Revelation 20:4-6) After that, Satan will be released to try to persuade perfect mankind to side with him once more, but this time he and all that side with him will be destroyed (Revelation 20:7-10). This will result in eternal peace on Earth; the world will be populated with only righteous people. (Psalm 37:11 & 29)
