What was the intent of the Indian Removal Act was to do what?

First of all the Indian removal act was created by Andrew Jackson, the 7th President of the United States. It was created to move all Native Americans (not Indians) to designated spots in Oklahoma territory and Nebraska territory. the goal was to stop battles that had broken out between the Cherokees, Choctaws and other nations against American settlers and the us army. Most of these peoples were forced to walk a long and treacherous trail to the new territories where they were forced to live. This walk was know as the Trail of Tears. Now adays most people with Native American heritage from this era look at Jackson as the Jewish people look at Adolf Hitler. Some Native American casinos even didnt allow 20 dollar bills in because Jackson is on it.
