How do you replace the instrument cluster on 2001 TDI Beetle?

It is an easy procedure. Tilt back stearing wheel and remove cover from cluster. Just pull it out, be carefull of airbag. Once the dash cluster cover is removed you will see two torx screws remove these and gentley pull forward and out. On the back are two pin connectors right and left. One blue the other green there are pink connector holders on each pull out onthese. There is limited room to work, but can from drivers seat. If you replace you must use the original cluster or reprogram the new one for immo. If not your car will run two minutes and shut down, You can use the Vag Com Commander to reprogram new cluster, but first you need PIN code for immo.
