Dog paw pad red and tender?

there are 2 things it most likely is

1 it walked on a hot road or sand on a sunny day and its paw pad has got a bit burnt

2 it has got infected

best thing to do is take it to the vet just incase it is infected

better safe than sorry. other wise wait a week n see if it gets better
