Can the things you put in the drain go to the bay?

Oh, dude, when you chuck stuff down the drain, it doesn't magically disappear into a mystical portal leading to the bay. Nope, it actually goes through pipes and ends up at a wastewater treatment plant where it gets all cleaned up before being released back into the environment. So, yeah, technically, stuff from the drain can end up in the bay, but it's not like you're directly dumping your leftovers into the ocean.
