What is Facebook's IP address?

There is a range of IP addresses used by Facebook.

Simply using the Ping command for a large high-traffic site like Facebook will usually return the first IP address in a series of several. Often, many different IP addresses are used to spread traffic between many different servers to ensure website performance doesn't suffer.

The best way to find any website's list of IP addresses is by using the DIG command (see Related Link).

If you don't have access to a Unix host running DIG, there are several online versions that can be run from within a browser.
