What foreshadows Haemon's death in 'Antigone'?

Haemon's own statement of one death leading into anotherforeshadows his death in "Antigone" by Sophocles (495 B.C.E. - 405 B.C.E.).

Specifically, Theban Prince Haemon attempts to talk his father, King Creon, out of sentencing Princess Antigone to death. Haemon loves Antigone, who is his first cousin and bride-to-be. He realizes that his father will not back down. So he says that Antigone's death will not go unaccompanied.
