Why does the breaker keep tripping when i plug in my hot tub?

Your heater is causing a short in the system. Somewhere within the heating core, there is a crack, hole, or short that the GFI is picking up. It is kicking the power off because you could get seriously injured touching the water when the heater is shorting out.
