Who was aryabhatt?

Aryabhata was an ancient Indian mathematician and astronomer, born in 476 CE. He is best known for his work "Aryabhatiya," which covers arithmetic, algebra, and celestial mechanics. He proposed that the Earth rotates on its axis and calculated the circumference of the Earth with remarkable accuracy.
