Most Home Theater systems have similar terminals to each other, including the Panasonic range. As each amplifier and processor unit is different, you can expect the number and locations of the connectors to be different as well.
Here is a very general guide:
For audio inputs, expect to see RCA (phono) connectors or 3.5mm mini jack sockets.
Video inputs, if they available will be RCA for composite or component, VGA (15pin D connector) or HDMI for high definitions signals.
Signal outputs will normally be similar to the inputs for both audio and video.
Speaker outputs will normally be a terminal to accept bare wires or might use 4mm single pole connectors (banana plugs).
If you are replacing an existing home theater system, it's worth looking at the user manual before making the change. The manual will have all of the connectors described in detail and you will be able to make a comparison with your existing cables and the new unit. If you don't have the manual, most can be found on line at the manufacturer's web site.
