Why is manufacturing not a major industry of Greece?

Manufacturing in Greece faces several challenges, including a relatively high cost of labor, limited access to raw materials, and a focus on tourism and services as the backbone of the economy. The economic crisis of the late 2000s also led to reduced investment in manufacturing infrastructure.
