How much does a gas furnace and air conditioner cost for a 1200 Sq. foot home cost?

Figure $1500 - $2000 to have the 2 dropped off in your driveway. I am sure you can understand, one cannot and should not estimate the price of any job without seeing it and expect it to be realistic. Just a quick example there is piping needed to connect the two, that costs money 1) to buy it, especially now since copper is at or near its all time high, 2) to install it, how much is needed? how easy or difficult is the run from one end to the other? Wiring,ductwork is it there already or is it also needed? You get the picture.
