Can you be a Girl Scout leader with a DUI?

All adults who will be working with girls as part of the adult/girl ratio, working with money or products, working with adult's or girl's personal information, or attending an overnight activity must have a background check. The information obtained in that background check is confidential but will be used to determine an adult's clearance status. The decision to exclude or limit an individual's participation as a volunteer is solely within the discretion of the Girl Scout Council that requested the background check.
