I may have conceived is it ok to take bactrim while pregnant?

i don't think so. i have researching it and i found that it causes birth defects I got pregnant while taking bactrim so I'm kinda freaking out wondering if my baby will be okay. this is my fourth pregnancy I've experienced some light spotting that i haven't with any of my others so...... I'm no doctor but I would say don't take it. Just in case
