What sea life makes its home around the great barrier reef?

More than 30 species of whales, dolphins and porpoises have been recorded on the Great Barrier Reef. There are also dugongs, sea turtles, mollusc, pipefish, sea horses, and sea snakes. More than 1,500 species of fish live there, too.
