Why will the first season of Scrubs not work in your DVD player?

Hmm... some DVD's won't work in players in other countries, but I'm assuming you got your DVD within your country, because Scrubs is fairly widely available everywhere.

So I'd say it's probably a defective DVD, you should try to return the broken one and get a new one.
