What does LCL means in logistics?

LCL means less-than container load (or less-than car load). It describes a load of goods which needs to be transported. LCL goods should share transport with other LCL goods, to make up a full load, which is more economical and sustainable.

It can also mean Life Cycle Logistics (this includes reverse logistics for recycling goods after they have been used by consumers).
