What is the maximum height an airplane can fly?

For a commercial airliner, the maximum Altitude is 45 000 feet. For a private Aircraft the absolute maximum is 60 000 feet if the aircraft meets the FAA requirements. The maximum height ever reached in an aircraft was 123 000 feet, and the atmosphere is 100km tall (328 084 feet).
