What are the two largest ethnic minority groups in the US?

Most people in the US identify themselves either as Germans or Afro-Americans. As a result Germans share 17.1% of the population, African American 14.6% and English, Scottish or Scotch/Irish 12.6%. People who identify themselves as American are those whose descent is not known and is largely a political statement. They represent 6.7% of the population
