What are the Scottsboro boys known for?

they were a group of 9 black boys who were accused of raping ruby bates and Victoria price .they were as young as 13 years old.many were prisioned without a trial.this is one of the worst crimes in American history,it happenedon an American freight train on march 25 1951....im soo smart!
