How long does regular mail take to arrive from Maryland to Houston?

I do know that to mail an average size letter, using basic postage stamp, that it takes 4 days from Maryland to Florida. Seeing as how the distance isn't that drastic, I would guesstimate it would take a minimum of 4 days. I only know this because I live in Maryland and parents live in Florida. Hope this helps.
