Why Rizal live in his Aunt house?

Rizal lived in his Aunt's house to further his education in Manila, away from his hometown. He stayed with his Aunt for financial support and guidance while pursuing his studies at the University of Santo Tomas. Living with his Aunt allowed him to focus on his education and also be exposed to the social and political issues of the time.
