Is Gold's Gym the largest fitness chain in the world?

Depends on how you are measuring it. For # of locations, I believe Curves is the leader with over 10000. It is for women only though. The large ones are Anytime Fitness with 1500 locations, Gold's Gyms, Fitness First (Europe only) and GoodLife (Canada only).
