What fourth period element is represented by an X with 7 dots?

If the X with 7 dots is supposed to represent valance electrons, then the element would be Iodine, I. There is not an element with just an X symbol. When I teach valance electors, I use an X to represent any chemical symbol and then show the order of the placement of the valance electron dots around the X.
