When surgery is done on babies in utero are the babies sedated?

It depends on the surgery, getting your baby's hole in his heart fixed is completely different from if you where getting a abortion... The latter definitely having no sedation.That is because the fetus can not feel pain until the 20th week. We know today that fetuses can feel pain after a point in pregnancy and depending on the procedure they are given something but not sedated I think.
