What are some things you missed out on because you are a single parent?

As a single parent, I often miss out on social events and gatherings due to the responsibilities of childcare and the need for a reliable support system. Spontaneous outings or travel become more challenging, limiting opportunities for personal relaxation and connection with friends. Additionally, I may miss out on career development opportunities that require more flexibility or time commitment, as balancing work and parenting can be demanding. Ultimately, the focus on my child's needs sometimes means putting my own desires and aspirations on hold.
