It is Very hard to pull start 1998 Yamaha big bear - is there any decompressions button or adjustment?

The Big Bear has a decompression lever on the head of the motor looking down on the head it is at the 2 Oclock position. It is a small lever that kisks back into position on the throw of the motor. This lever allows you to pull the piston to just before top deadcenter then get a full pull.
