What is the original location for Choctaw?

The Choctaw people originally inhabited areas in the southeastern United States, primarily in what is now Mississippi, Louisiana, and Alabama. They were one of the Native American tribes of the southeastern Woodlands and were known for their agricultural practices and rich cultural traditions. Over time, due to European colonization and westward expansion, many Choctaw were forcibly relocated to present-day Oklahoma during the 1830s.
